Pod’s Burgers Podcast Review

The Pitch:

A podcast chronicling a Bob’s Burgers obsession brought to you by two superfan sisters.

The Product:

Is there anything worse than finding a podcast that fills a void you didn’t know existed, only to learn that it’s on hiatus? Well, yes, the world is literally on fire in places right now, so that’s worse. BUT(ts) it is still a shame that this podcast is apparently another victim of real life commitments, COVID-19 stress, and, well, the world being on fire.

I think most people in the world are at least aware of Bob’s Burger, and the fact that under the delicious, cheesy layers of puns is a heartwarming show about accepting that you, everyone in your family, and basically everyone you know, is a complete weirdo when it gets down to it.

And so it just makes sense that a Bob’s Burgers podcast would be hosted by siblings — two sisters, Jen and Briddany — who drink wine, eat chocolate, and are so comfortable with each other and in their collective odd sense of humour that you instantly feel a part of the extended family.

You might be the quiet cousin who drinks too much and suddenly displays a penchant for robust renditions of show tunes, or the sister in law who is just a little too much in to taxidermy, but it doesn’t matter —if you’re a fan of…
