The Product:

If you’re reading this then you probably know that True Crime is kind of a big deal in podcasting. Shows that dissect the gruesome and the ghastly can sell out venues, ship merchandise, and spawn adaptations across other media forms.

But here at Podcasteroid, we feel like there’s enough grim reality in the world without shoving more of it into our ear holes in the hopes of having a good time. Podcasts generally are an escape from reality for our fragile little minds.

Enter Ridiculous Crime, here to show us that there is more to crime than murder, and some of it can be fun! Joining the already stacked iheart empire, the show will sound familiar to fans of Ridiculous History, already on the network.

At the time of writing, Ridiculous Crime has released two episodes, and friends, they are wild rides, the first of which involves the Mob Boss of Flavor Town, Guy Fieri. Hosts Zaron Burnett and Elizabeth Dutton delight in the details, both ludicrous and inane, and egg each other on in a riff-heavy retellings of the criminal escapades.
