The Pitch:
Uncensored, unscripted interviews with pro-wrestlers.
The Product:
Renée Paquette has been in or around the wrestling business for quite some time now. Initially coming at the business from an outsiders perspective, she became a staple of WWE for years, wearing many hats, making connections, and even marrying a wrestler along the way. (Joohhnnnnnnn Moooooxxxleyyyy).
She is, in other words, a perfect person to host a show like this. The guests are (usually) wrestlers in different stages of their careers, from different promotions. Episodes drop regularly and are usually 45 mins — an hour. There is a lot of content, if wrestling is your thing. It’s pretty straightforward stuff here, folks.
Unsurprisingly, given her resumé, Renée is extremely charismatic and a talented interviewer. Matching the energy of the guest and allowing them to get into full storytelling flow are two of her signature moves. Often episodes end with a sense that the guest could easily be a co-host going forward. You can’t beat that kind of chemistry, people!
