Dan Schreiber grew up loving comedy and facts, a set of seemingly disparate passions that were not shared by those around him, leaving him feeling like a weirdo.
Well, jokes on everyone else, because the universe works in mysterious ways — or it does if you believe in the Power of the Universe — and Dan ended up working for QI, a British comedy panel that glorifies the merging of comedy and facts, and punishes “General Ignorance” instead of rewarding “General Knowledge”.
Keen podcast fans will also know Schreiber from the fact-heavy, whimsical podcast “No Such Thing As A Fish”, where he is one of 4 co-hosts, each presenting a fact of the week, and generally having a fun time riffing off of the initial topic.
His new(ish) podcast We Can Be Weirdos maintains the healthy thirst for knowledge and unfettered comedy of Fish, but it is a bigger creature, in a deeper, stranger sea of topics.
