Well, time is a flat circle, and Podcasteroid is back reviewing podcasts hosted by comedians who are interviewing (mostly) comedians. This is, of course, an oversaturated market, but that doesn’t mean the cream can’t rise to the top!

Mike Birbiglia is a working comedian, and a good one at that. He has a new(ish) special on Netflix, and he is the subject of a comedy documentary in a TV adaptation of Good One. Fans of that podcast won’t be surprised to learn that Birbiglia is interested in the craft behind jokes; the working it out, if you will. And regular readers can rest assured that this is not a sudden departure into edgy-bro-comedy waters.

The release pattern, premise, and format are pretty easy to latch onto here. Four hour-long episodes are released each month, give or take, with a new guest each time. There’s the occasional special episode/lookback episode, but other than that this is consistent and consistently entertaining.
