I wasn’t intending to do two football-based podcasts back to back after reviewing The Offensive, but here we are. The Football Manager Football Show is a weekly podcast by two Irish sports broadcasters playing Football Manager and reporting back on their exploits. I’ve mentioned before that football (soccer) isn’t actually niche, but this is definitely putting a few studs over the line into niche territory, no VAR check required.
Football Manager is an immersive football management game that slowly takes over your life until you’re up at 4am scouring through data reports about youth players in Chile, constantly irritated at people in real life because of their transgressions in your game, and generally leaving your loved ones worried if you are engaging in clandestine activities on the dark web.
